On the morning of August 26, Beijing time, JOYY, Inc. Sponsored ADR Class A (JOYY.US) released its financial report for the second quarter of 2026. JOYY, Inc. Sponsored ADR Class A achieved total revenue of $590.8 million in the second quarter, a year-on-year increase of 16.3% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 6.3%, realizing growth in both comparisons. All three core business segments experienced growth compared to both the previous year and the previous quarter: social entertainment business revenue was $422.7 million, a year-on-year increase of 7.4% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 5.6%; the advertising technology business BIGO Ads generated $133.7 million in revenue, a year-on-year increase of 53.1% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 7.1%; SHOPLINE revenue reached $34.4 million, with a further year-on-year increase of 28.6% and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 12.5%. As diversified businesses continue to grow, the proportion of non-live streaming revenue within the group further increased to 31.8%. In the second quarter, JOYY, Inc. Sponsored ADR Class A reported non-GAAP operating profit and EBITDA of $49.1 million and $56.9 million, respectively, which represent year-on-year increases of 28.2% and 18.1%, and quarter-on-quarter increases of 29.4% and 24.4%. The operating cash flow for this quarter reached $64.9 million, and as of June 30, the group held net cash of $3.06 billion. Based on the overall operating performance in the first half of the year being better than expected and the operational leverage brought about by improved efficiency in various businesses, JOYY, Inc. Sponsored ADR Class A has raised its non-GAAP operating profit forecast for 2026, expecting an annual year-on-year growth of approximately 20%. In terms of shareholder returns, JOYY, Inc. Sponsored ADR Class A continues to promote share buybacks and dividends. From January 1 to August 21, 2026, it has repurchased a total of $216.4 million and distributed dividends of $142.4 million, totaling $358.8 million returned to shareholders.
