TIMES CHINA (01233) announced that for the six months ending June 30, 2026, the company expects the net profit attributable to owners of the company to be between approximately RMB 3.5 billion and RMB 3.8 billion (for the six months ending June 30, 2025: a net loss attributable to owners of the company of approximately RMB 3.44 billion).
The turnaround from a net loss attributable to owners of the company to net profit is mainly due to the following comprehensive factors: as of June 30, 2026, several domestic company bond and asset-backed security bond restructuring plans of the group have been approved by respective bondholder meetings, confirming the associated gains; certain impairments recognized on property assets, financial assets, and interests in joint ventures; which were offset by a reduction in recognized project income during the period due to the weak macro real estate market. Excluding the impact of restructuring gains, the company expects to report an increase in net loss attributable to owners of the company compared to the same period in 2025.
