In terms of news, recently, GPIXEL announced its interim results for the six months ending June 30, 2026, reporting revenue of RMB 641 million, an increase of 78.36% year-on-year; profit attributable to the parent company owners reached RMB 250 million, up 197.16% year-on-year; and earnings per share of RMB 0.63. The announcement stated that revenue from area array sensors and line array sensors increased mainly due to sales rising from 264,000 units in the same period last year to 548,000 units during the reporting period, driven by robust demand in downstream industrial imaging applications such as high-end industrial inspection, lithium battery testing, and printed circuit board inspection. It is noteworthy that the Hang Seng Index Company announced the results of its quarterly review of the Hang Seng Index series as of June 30, 2026, during which GPIXEL was included in the Hang Seng Composite Index. Changes to the Hang Seng Composite Index will take effect after market close on September 4 (Friday) and will be implemented starting September 7 (Monday), at which point the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges will adjust the range of investable stocks under the Hong Kong Stock Connect accordingly. GPIXEL may be included in the Hong Kong Stock Connect as it meets a series of criteria, including market capitalization and liquidity.
