The "National Brain-Computer Interface Industry Standards System Construction Guide (2026 Edition)" (Draft for Comments) has been released to enhance China's participation in global brain-computer interface standards.

On August 24, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology solicited opinions on the "Guidelines for the Construction of National Brain-Computer Interface Industry Standard System (2026 Edition)" (draft for comments). It was proposed that by 2028, more than 40 standards in the field of brain-computer interfaces will be formulated or revised, more than 10 international standards will be led or participated in the formulation, and over 100 enterprises will be promoted to carry out standard dissemination and implementation. By 2030, more than 80 standards will have been formulated cumulatively, the standard system will be basically formed, and China's participation in global standards and industrial contribution in the field of brain-computer interfaces will continuously improve.
