Siasun Robot & Automation concept stocks led the decline. As of the time of this report, DOBOT (02432) dropped 6.88% to HKD 24.1; UBTECH ROBOTICS (09880) fell 5.13% to HKD 79.6; Shenzhen Zhaowei Machinery & Electronics (02692) declined 3.93% to HKD 41.12; and Zhejiang Sanhua Intelligent Controls (02050) decreased 4.07% to HKD 26.4. On the news front, on August 24, Yushu Technology continued its decline, finishing down 10.31% at RMB 603.08 per share. Compared to its issuance price of RMB 150.80 per share, the stock has still increased by about three times, but has retreated over 45% from its opening price of RMB 1,100 on the first day; its total market value has also fallen below RMB 250 billion. China Securities Co., Ltd. released a research report stating that Yushu Technology's market value on its first day exceeded RMB 440 billion, far beyond market expectations. However, this massive market capitalization has created a distinct capital siphoning effect on the sector, leading to a general adjustment under pressure for other Siasun Robot & Automation targets; by Friday, Yushus market value had dropped to about RMB 270 billion. If it continues this adjustment trend, it may further suppress sector sentiment in the short term. However, from a medium- to long-term industrial perspective, the industry turning point is approaching.
