On August 21, Hang Seng Indexes Company announced the results of the quarterly review of the Hang Seng Index series as of June 30, 2026, during which CHINA XLX FERT (01866) was included in the Hang Seng Composite Index. The changes to the Hang Seng Composite Index will take effect after the market closes on September 4 (Friday) and will be implemented on September 7 (Monday). The Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchanges will accordingly adjust the scope of investable stocks for the Hong Kong Stock Connect. CHINA XLX FERT may be included in the Hong Kong Stock Connect as it meets a series of criteria, including market value and liquidity.
Recently, CHINA XLX FERT issued a positive profit forecast, with the group anticipating a net profit of approximately RMB 1.15 billion to RMB 1.23 billion for the first half of 2026, representing a year-on-year increase of 52% to 62%; the net profit attributable to shareholders of the company is expected to be between RMB 850 million and RMB 920 million, a year-on-year growth of 42% to 54%. During the reporting period, the group's performance is expected to show significant growth, mainly due to the full release of scalability efficiencies and the continuous optimization of product structure, with both volume and price of main products on the rise, driving an overall increase in gross profit level.
