On August 19, PATEO (02889) issued a voluntary announcement, stating that it has received a project designation notification from a leading OEM new energy vehicle company, being selected as the supplier for the next-generation 8397 cockpit platform. Previously, PATEO had developed an integrated hardware and software solution for the intelligent cockpit domain controller based on the Qualcomm 8295 platform for this vehicle company and successfully obtained overseas project designation for mass production. The new designation for the 8397 platform marks a comprehensive upgrade of cooperation between the two parties towards multi-platform in-depth collaboration. It is reported that the 8397 has been officially identified as the platform configuration for this leading automotive company. Combined with the products from platforms like the 8295 already supplied by PATEO, PATEO has achieved full coverage of the cockpit platforms for this company. Future cooperation will further extend to mainstream best-selling models, providing solid support for PATEO's subsequent mass production and sales growth. The 8397 cockpit platform is Qualcomm's fifth-generation cockpit computing platform, featuring a powerful computing foundation capable of supporting cutting-edge capabilities such as multi-modal perception and local large model inference. PATEO will build a next-generation in-vehicle interactive system based on this platform, incorporating physical AI and comprehensive intelligent agents to achieve intelligent functions such as real-time environmental simulation, proactive mobility services, and natural human-vehicle interaction.
