As of June 30, 2026, the sales volume of gas in Hong Kong was 14.414 billion megajoules (equivalent to approximately 410 million cubic meters of natural gas), declining by 3.5% year-on-year. The number of customers was around 2.07 million, an increase of nearly 15,000 households compared to the end of 2025.
The Group's total number of urban gas projects in mainland China has reached 325, distributed across 23 provincial-level regions; it added 690,000 new customers, bringing the total to 44.96 million. The total gas sales volume for the first half of the year was 18.6 billion cubic meters, remaining essentially flat year-on-year. Among this, residential gas consumption was 4.81 billion cubic meters (26%), commercial gas consumption was 2.73 billion cubic meters (15%), and industrial gas consumption was 7.7 billion cubic meters (41%). Additionally, distribution and power generation accounted for 3.36 billion cubic meters (18%).
