KAI YUAN HLDGS (01215) announced that the Group expects to record a loss attributable to the companys owners of approximately HKD 2.6 million for the six months ending June 30, 2026 (the interim period), compared to a loss of approximately HKD 100 million for the six months ending June 30, 2025 (the previous period). The anticipated reduction in loss for the interim period is primarily due to (i) the revenue and gross profit contributions from the Paris Marriott Hotel Champs-Elysees increasing to approximately HKD 177 million and HKD 44.2 million, respectively, as the hotel has fully reopened after renovation (previous period: revenue of approximately HKD 74.7 million and gross loss of approximately HKD 10.1 million); and (ii) no impairment provisions made for loans provided to an associate during the interim period (previous period: approximately HKD 63.7 million); offset in part by income tax provisions of approximately HKD 3.6 million (previous period: income tax credit of HKD 13.1 million).
