The construction of two major projects is being solidly advanced, and the construction of a modern infrastructure system represented by the "six networks" is being accelerated, with investments in related areas maintaining good growth momentum. From January to July, investment in the internet and related services grew by 41.3% year-on-year, with the growth rate accelerating by 1.4 percentage points compared to the first half of the year; investment in the air transport industry increased by 15.7%, with a growth acceleration of 4.7 percentage points; investment in the water transport industry grew by 16.2%; and investment in the power supply industry increased by 16.0%.
V. Continuous Optimization of Industrial Investment Structure
The construction of a modern industrial system is steadily advancing, and the transformation and upgrading of traditional industries are accelerating, improving the industrial investment structure. From January to July, investment in the mining industry increased by 3.3%, contributing 0.2 percentage points to overall industrial investment growth. Investment in equipment manufacturing grew by 1.1%, contributing 0.4 percentage points to total industrial investment growth. Among these, investment in the manufacturing of rail, shipbuilding, aerospace, and other transport equipment grew by 18.7%; investment in computers, communications, and other electronic equipment grew by 7.8%, with the growth rate accelerating by 1.3 percentage points compared to the first half of the year.
In the next stage, we must deeply implement the decision-making and deployment of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and the State Council, accelerate the pace of fiscal expenditure and bond fund utilization, effectively promote the construction of two major projects and two new tasks, solidly advance the planning and construction of six networks, comprehensively promote the large-scale development of emerging pillar industries, accelerate the establishment of a modern industrial system, and ensure coordinated efforts in investing in both physical assets and human resources, further optimize and enhance the investment structure and efficiency, and better leverage effective investment's key role in optimizing supply structure.
