Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (600196.SH) subsidiary signs a cooperation framework agreement and reaches a licensing agreement.

Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (600196.SH) announced that on August 16, 2026, its controlling subsidiary HENLIUS signed a Cooperation Framework Agreement with Sandoz AG, which will allow for licensing cooperation regarding the registration, commercialization, development, and production of up to 10 biosimilar products or components (i.e., "cooperative products") from HENLIUS with Sandoz AG in relevant overseas markets. Specific commercial terms have been reached for the first three cooperative products (i.e., HLX05-N, HLX16, and the biosimilar of Bevacizumab), and Sandoz AG has been granted an option for one potential cooperative product (i.e., HLXTE-HAase1001). It is reported that for the first three cooperative products, HENLIUS can receive up to $314 million in initial payments, development milestones, development budget milestones, and sales milestone payments. This cooperation aims to leverage the advantages and resources of both parties in research and development, production, and commercialization, continuously enhancing the accessibility and influence of the group's products in the international market, and providing more treatment options for patients worldwide.
