China Power (02380) announced that on August 14, 2026, Xin Yuan Zhi Chu (a non-wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company) entered into a BESS procurement contract with Xinjiang Shengyuan as the seller. According to the contract, Xin Yuan Zhi Chu will provide a fully integrated battery energy storage system for the Hami North project, including the necessary equipment materials and related services, at a cost of RMB 115 million (approximately HKD 132 million).
CHINA POWER (02380) announced that on August 14, 2026, XinYuan ZhiChu (a non-wholly-owned subsidiary of the company) entered into a BESS procurement contract with Xinjiang Shengyuan as the seller. According to the contract, XinYuan ZhiChu will provide a fully integrated battery energy storage system for the Hami North Project, including the necessary equipment materials and related services, at a cost of RMB 115 million (approximately equivalent to HKD 132 million). XinYuan ZhiChu has agreed to supply the equipment materials and related services required for the BESS of the Hami North Project, which includes lithium iron phosphate battery cells, battery cabinets, battery management systems, conversion and boost transformer integration stations, energy management systems, inter-cabin cables, and auxiliary equipment, as well as installation, debugging, performance evaluation, trial operation, and follow-up services during the warranty period (which is five years from the date of initial performance acceptance). During the warranty period, the seller is obligated to rectify any defects and damages that may arise. On the same day that the BESS procurement contract was concluded, XinYuan ZhiChu entered into a cell procurement contract with Guoning Technology (the designated cell supplier as per the bidding requirements), at a cost of RMB 74.2918 million. Providing BESS for the Hami North Project will enable XinYuan ZhiChu to gain market share and accumulate strength in the energy storage field, benefiting the group in building a comprehensive new energy supply chain and aligning with the group's strategic goal of transforming into a green low-carbon energy supplier and service provider.
