MERDEKAGOLD-DRS(06228): Adopt the Chinese name of the company.

MERDEKAGOLD-DRS (06228) announced that the Hong Kong Companies Registry has issued the registration certificate for the change of name of a non-Hong Kong company on August 7, 2026, certifying that the new Chinese name of the company, (Chinese Name), has been registered in accordance with Section 16 of the Companies Ordinance (Cap. 622) of Hong Kong law. The company's English and legal name PT Merdeka Gold Resources Tbk remains unchanged, as the Chinese Name has not yet been registered at the company's place of establishment (therefore, no change of name certificate has been issued at the place of establishment). The Chinese Name is for identification purposes only and will take effect on August 18, 2026. The Chinese stock short name -DRS for the company's Hong Kong Depositary Securities (Depositary Securities) will take effect from 9:00 a.m. (Hong Kong time) on August 18, 2026. The English stock short name MERDEKAGOLD-DRS, the company's stock code 6228, and other trading arrangements related to the Depositary Securities will remain unchanged.
