LANGHAM-SS (01270) announced its interim results for 2026, reporting hotel portfolio revenue of HKD 801.8 million, a year-on-year increase of 8.7%; profit attributable to holders of share stapled units (excluding fair value changes of investment properties and derivative financial instruments) was HKD 45.5 million, a year-on-year increase of 60.2%; distributable income was HKD 56 million, a year-on-year increase of 100%. In this gradually improving market environment, benefiting from the continuous rebound in tourism demand to Hong Kong, our hotel portfolio (the hotels) performed even stronger. The overall hotel occupancy rate remained high at 91.9%, an increase of 3.5 percentage points year-on-year, while the average room rate rose by 6.1% to HKD 1,656 per night. As a result, the average revenue per available room (RevPAR) increased by 10.4%. Despite the challenging business environment in the local dining industry, the catering (F&B) business of these hotels remained robust, benefiting from a rebound in banquet demand, as well as continued growth in Chinese restaurants and buffet operations. During the period, overall catering revenue increased by 7.8%. Although revenue improved, the rise in profit margins was still constrained by increased operating costs, particularly in wages, energy expenditures, and overall inflationary pressures. Nevertheless, the total operating gross profit (before deducting global marketing expenses) for these hotels rose to HKD 244.8 million, representing a year-on-year growth of 12.8%. The overall gross profit margin slightly improved to 30.5%.
