In news, on the evening of August 12, LIFETECH SCI issued a profit warning stating that, excluding several non-recurring items, it expects the net profit attributable to shareholders for the six months ending June 30, 2026, to be between HKD 110 million and HKD 120 million, compared to approximately HKD 238.5 million in the same period of 2025, representing a year-on-year decrease of about 50% to 54%. This is mainly due to a decline in revenue and a significant reduction in net foreign exchange gains.
