On August 13, the Hong Kong dollar interbank offered rates developed unevenly, with the one-month HIBOR related to mortgages reported at 2.59292%, down 1.327 basis points; the three-month HIBOR, which reflects the cost of bank funding, remained unchanged at 2.90000%. The overnight rate was 2.08393%, down 1.369 basis points; the one-week rate fell by 10.708 basis points to 2.14810%, while the two-week rate fell by 12.702 basis points to 2.24810%. The two-month rate remained stable at 2.80000%. In terms of long-term rates, the six-month HIBOR rose by 0.071 basis points to 3.17750%, and the one-year rate increased by 0.994 basis points to 3.50000%.
