Weimou Biotechnology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. - B (referred to as: Weimou Biotechnology) submitted its Hong Kong stock prospectus on February 13, 2026, which will expire 6 months later on August 13, 2026. China International Capital Corporation was its sole sponsor at the time of submission.
Weimou Biotechnology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Weimou Biotechnology) submitted its Hong Kong stock prospectus on February 13, 2026, which will become invalid after six months on August 13, 2026. CICC was its exclusive sponsor at the time of submission. According to the previous prospectus, Weimou Biotechnology was established in 2016 and is a biotechnology company focused on the ophthalmic field, dedicated to becoming a global leader in the research and commercialization of innovative ophthalmic therapies. Leveraging the company's expertise in small molecule drug discovery for ophthalmic diseases, advanced formulation development, and translational medicine research, Weimou Biotechnology is developing a competitive and differentiated product pipeline that addresses various ophthalmic indications with significant unmet clinical needs in the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. The company has two core products, VVN461 (high dose) and VVN001. VVN461 (high dose) is a high-dose formulation of VVN461 eye drops and is a novel selective double-target inhibitor of Janus kinase 1 (JAK1) and tyrosine kinase 2 (TYK2), with potency at the nanomolar level. The company has initiated a Phase III clinical trial of VVN461 (high dose) in patients with non-infectious anterior uveitis (NIAU) in China. VVN001 is a second-generation lymphocyte function-associated antigen-1 (LFA-1) antagonist, developed as an innovative eye drop for the treatment of dry eye disease (DED). The company has also launched a Phase III clinical trial of VVN001 in China. As of the last feasible date (February 5, 2026), in addition to the core products, the company has six other candidate drugs, three of which are in the clinical stage.
