Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (600276.SH) recently announced that its subsidiary, Guangdong Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd., has received approval from the National Medical Products Administration (referred to as "NMPA") for the issuance of the "Clinical Trial Approval Notification" for SHR-7590 injection, which will begin clinical trials in the near future. SHR-7590 injection is a therapeutic biological product independently developed by the company. In animal models of inflammatory bowel disease, it can effectively inhibit inflammation, improve disease scores, and enhance intestinal tissue pathology. Currently, there are no approved drugs targeting the same mechanism globally. To date, the total research and development investment related to SHR-7590 injection has reached approximately 32.5 million yuan (unaudited).
