Alibaba Cloud Lingjun Zhenwu M890 Super Node Instance officially launched.

On August 12, Alibaba Cloud's Lingjun Zhenwu M890 Supernode instance officially launched, with the first batch available in the Ulanqab region. Enterprise-level customers no longer need to build their own data centers and can activate a 64-card high-speed interconnected computing unit in the cloud, capable of carrying MoE large models with up to one hundred trillion parameters for inference. The Lingjun Zhenwu M890 Supernode is also the first domestic supernode capable of successfully operating large models with over 20 trillion parameters, with Kimi K3 and Qwen3.8-Max already providing services through this instance. The Lingjun Zhenwu M890 Supernode instance supports FP8/FP4 low-precision computing, utilizing the ICN Switch 1.0 chip to scale up interconnect capacity from 16 cards to 64 cards, achieving interconnect speeds of 800GB/s. In training scenarios such as autonomous driving and embodied intelligence, training performance has increased threefold compared to the previous-generation Zhenwu 810E. Supporting the supernode cluster is Alibaba Cloud's unified foundationthe Lingjun Smart Computing Platform. Relying on HPN 8.0's integrated training and inference network, a single cluster can support up to 130,000 heterogeneous computing resources and can be expanded to the million card level. The initial launch region for this supernode instance, Ulanqab, is one of Alibaba Cloud's five major super data centers, with a green energy usage ratio of about 90%, providing a lower carbon operating environment for high-density computing. Additionally, the data center features an innovative modular design architecture, achieving a modularization rate of up to 90% in power supply, cooling, security, intelligence, and fire protection, which significantly shortens the data center delivery cycle and maximizes compatibility with mainstream heterogeneous chips and computing architectures, supporting at least three generations of chip iterations. This year, Alibaba Cloud plans to more than double the global production capacity of its modular data centers, and related supernode instances will be successively launched in other regions.
