Beijing Wantai Biological Pharmacy Enterprise (603392.SH) subsidiary's nine-valent HPV vaccine has obtained marketing approval in Thailand.
Wantai Biological (603392.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Xiamen Wantai Canghai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Wantai Canghai"), has independently developed a nine-valent human papillomavirus vaccine (E. coli) (referred to as "nine-valent HPV vaccine"), which has been approved by the Thai Food and Drug Administration.
Beijing Wantai Biological Pharmacy Enterprise (603392.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Xiamen Wantai Canghai Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Wantai Canghai"), has recently obtained approval from the Thai Food and Drug Administration for its self-developed nine-valent human papillomavirus vaccine (Escherichia coli) (referred to as "nine-valent HPV vaccine"). The nine-valent HPV vaccine is a preventive biological product independently developed by Wantai Canghai and received a drug registration certificate from the National Medical Products Administration in 2025, making it the first nine-valent HPV vaccine in China and the second in the world. It is primarily suitable for females aged 9 to 45 and covers seven high-risk types of HPV (16/18/31/33/45/52/58) and two low-risk types (6/11), which can prevent related diseases caused by infections with these HPV types.
