PONY-W (02026) rose over 7% during trading, and as of the time of writing, it is up 5.67%, reaching HKD 67.1, with a transaction volume of HKD 59.072 million. In recent news, He Xing, Vice President of Pony.ai and Head of the Truck Division, announced at a media briefing that the company's fourth-generation Robotruck has officially rolled off the production line of SANY Heavy Truck, while the first L4-level unmanned light truck has also entered practical operational testing. This signifies that Pony.ai's truck business has officially moved from the "validation phase" to the "scale expansion phase," aiming to achieve the deployment of 500 to 1,000 heavy trucks in the next 2 to 3 years, while leveraging light trucks to tap into the steep growth curve of the urban distribution market. Xiao Ping, the product head of the Truck Division, pointed out that the current number of motor vehicles for urban logistics is approximately 14 million, of which 8 million are 4.2-meter light trucks, making them the absolute mainstream carrier. Compared to the low-speed unmanned logistics vehicles on the market, which range from 5 to 6 cubic meters, Pony.ai's light trucks have generational advantages in the four dimensions of "many, fast, far, and economical," achieving nearly a 50% reduction in per-kilometer freight costs compared to traditional solutions. Currently, this vehicle model has formed substantial partnerships with well-known logistics and express delivery groups and is undergoing practical operational testing.
