CITIC BANK (00998) has completed the issuance of 20 billion yuan in green financial bonds.
CITIC Bank (00998) announced that, with the approval of the People's Bank of China, CITIC Bank Corporation Limited (hereinafter referred to as the Bank) has recently successfully issued the CITIC Bank Corporation Limited 2026 Green Financial Bonds (First Phase) (Bond Connect) (hereinafter referred to as the Bonds) in the national interbank bond market.
CITIC BANK (00998) announced that, with the approval of the People's Bank of China, CITIC BANK Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Bank") has successfully issued the CITIC BANK Co., Ltd. 2026 Green Financial Bonds (Phase 1) (Bond Connect) (hereinafter referred to as "the Bonds") in the national interbank bond market recently.
The Bonds were booked on August 6, 2026, and were fully issued on August 10, 2026. The issuance size of the Bonds is RMB 20 billion, with a term of 3 years and a fixed interest rate of 1.53%.
The proceeds from the Bonds will be used in accordance with applicable laws and regulatory approval for green industry projects specified in the "Green Financial Support Project Catalog (2025 Edition)."
