XJ INTL HLDGS (01765) announced that after the trading hours on August 7, 2026, its wholly-owned subsidiary Yibin Xuande Education Consulting Management Co., Ltd. entered into an agreement with Gao County Huirun Education Co., Ltd. to sell land along with properties for a total consideration of approximately RMB 248 million. The Group expects to record an unaudited loss of approximately RMB 27.2017 million from the sale. It is reported that the land is located at No. 222, Section 1, Kaihua Road, Qingfu Town, Gao County, Yibin City, Sichuan Province, China. The total land area is 165.26 acres, and on the land, there are 14 school buildings with a total construction area of 83,741.64 square meters. Due to business development needs, the Group purchased the land in 2020 to invest in a private higher education project in Gao County. However, due to the failure to be included in the Sichuan Province's "14th Five-Year Plan" for higher education institutions, the project has not successfully obtained the qualification to operate a school and is currently idle. The directors believe that the sale provides the Group with a good opportunity to recover most of its past investment and avoid incurring further expenses, and it will also optimize the Group's resource utilization.
