Recently, reporters learned from JD HEALTH (06618) that in the first half of 2026, JD HEALTH has launched a total of 65 new drugs, covering fields such as oncology, dermatology, and chronic diseases. The number of new drug launches has led the industry for several consecutive years.
JD HEALTH is the largest pharmaceutical retail platform in terms of sales revenue of health products in China. In 2025, the total revenue of JD HEALTH reached 73.4 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 26.3%, with annual active users reaching 218 million, maintaining its leadership in the pharmaceutical retail sector. It is this scale advantage that allows JD HEALTH to build a service network with the longest user lifecycle and the widest coverage, forming a unique "medical testing, diagnosis, and medication" complete chain capability in the industry. Currently, JD HEALTH's service network covers over a million natural villages across the country.
Song Zhirui, Vice President of JD Group and General Manager of JD HEALTH's Pharmaceutical Business Department, stated in a recent media interview that the platform plays the role of a "connector" and "accelerator" in the industry chain. Taking the recently launched Remibutin tablets in March as an example, JD HEALTH began collaborative construction with pharmaceutical companies for market entry since last October, leveraging user data insights to assist in demand forecasting and inventory planning, ensuring that new drugs reach patients as quickly as possible.
Supporting the efficient launch of 65 new drugs is the platform's most extensive fulfillment network and the most complete service chain. Data shows that over 65% of JD HEALTH users are from third-tier cities and below, with nearly 100,000 service sites established in towns and villages nationwide, and coverage rates for same-day or next-day delivery in county areas reaching 87.1%. From the "first kilometer" of new drug launches to the "last kilometer" of long-term medication for primary care patients, JD HEALTH has streamlined the entire chain from "full-category supply - efficient fulfillment - professional pharmaceutical services - AI intelligent management." On the AI technology front, the AI doctor "Dai Wei" has completed hundreds of millions of interactions with a satisfaction rate of 98%, with nearly 70% of users coming from third-tier cities and below; AI intelligent inventory scheduling accurately predicts regional medication demand, effectively reducing the risk of supply disruptions.
The recently released "2026 Survey Report on Accessibility to Primary Care Medications" corroborates this position: JD HEALTH has a recognition rate of 67.3% among primary care practitioners, ranking first in the industry; 75.0% of respondents believe that online platforms should become an important component of the primary medication security system. From being the largest in scale and widest in coverage to serving users over the longest lifecycle, JD HEALTH is making the reality of "universal access upon initial launch" feasible with its continuously leading capabilities in new drug launches and complete service loop.
