WASION HOLDINGS (03393) announced that its subsidiary, Weiyuan Energy Technology Co., Ltd., has successfully secured a supply contract for reclosers from Equatorial Energia at its subsidiary, WASION ENERGIA DO BRASIL LTDA, established in Brazil, with a total contract value of approximately 110 million Brazilian Reais (about RMB 145 million or approximately HKD 168 million) in August 2026. Equatorial Energia is one of the largest integrated infrastructure and comprehensive energy groups in Brazil and a highly representative integrated utility company in the Latin American capital market. It occupies a core position in various fields including electricity distribution, transmission, renewable energy generation, energy trading, and water and sanitation services in Brazil. The recloser is a core product in the Group's smart grid solutions, used to enhance the automation level of the distribution network and the reliability of power supply. The Board firmly believes that this bid win will further strengthen the Group's business foundation in overseas markets and positively impact the Group's long-term development.
