Shenzhen Chipscreen Biosciences (688321.SH) announced that the company has recently received the "Acceptance Notification" for the clinical trial application of domestically produced drug registration issued by the Center for Drug Evaluation of the National Medical Products Administration. The clinical trial application for NW001, developed in collaboration with Chengdu Microchip New Domain Biotechnology Co., Ltd., for the treatment of advanced malignant tumors (solid tumors and lymphomas) has been accepted. NW001 is an Epigenetic Immune-Modulating Antibody Conjugate (EIMAC). The antibody part of NW001 is a humanized PD-L1 monoclonal antibody, which is uniquely designed to be conjugated with a newly improved HDACi payload. After NW001 binds to PD-L1 on the cell surface, it undergoes endocytosis, leading to intracellular cleavage and the release of highly active small-molecule HDACi payloads, exerting comprehensive anti-tumor activity through epigenetic immunology.
