On July 31, the International Cooperation Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission issued a notification regarding the registration of the overseas issuance and listing of Ganzhou Hemei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and the "full circulation" of its unlisted shares in the domestic market.
On July 31, the International Cooperation Department of the China Securities Regulatory Commission issued a "Registration Notice for the Overseas Issuance and Listing and Domestic Unlisted Shares 'Full Circulation' of Ganzhou Hemei Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd." The company plans to issue no more than 63,491,400 overseas listed ordinary shares and list them on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. A total of 24 shareholders intend to convert their combined 253,969,480 domestic unlisted shares into overseas listed shares and list them for trading on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. According to the prospectus, Hemei Pharmaceutical was established in 2002 and is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to the discovery and development of independently developed small molecule drugs for autoimmune diseases and tumors. As of June 1, 2026, the company's pipeline includes seven small molecule candidates (including two core products, Mufemilast and Hemay022). Mufemilast has received NDA approval in China. For Hemay022, the company is conducting a Phase III clinical trial for a combination therapy targeting advanced ER+/HER2+ breast cancer. In 2024 and 2025, the company's annual losses were approximately 123 million and 130 million RMB, respectively.
