This increase in shareholder profit during the period was mainly driven by the net fair value gain on financial assets, increased business revenue, and positive contributions from associated companies.
The announcement stated that with the above profit growth, strong other comprehensive income, positive contributions from associated companies, and other operational factors, the group's comprehensive net asset value at the end of the reporting period is expected to increase by over 100% to over HK$4.5 billion.
