Varsal Tech, which provides specialty chemicals for the pharmaceutical, electronics, industrial, and research sectors, announced the terms of its initial public offering (IPO) on Wednesday. The company, based in Warminster, Pennsylvania, plans to issue 3 million shares of stock at a price of $5 to $6 per share, raising $17 million. Based on the midpoint of the offering price range, Varsal Tech's market value will reach $127 million.
Varsal Tech develops and distributes specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical intermediates, and custom chemical solutions for clients in the pharmaceutical, electronics, industrial, personal care, and research sectors. The company purchases products through its third-party manufacturing network in China, providing these manufacturers with proprietary process specifications and technical guidance, while also handling downstream logistics, packaging, and global delivery. Its product portfolio includes sulfonyl chemicals, phosphorus chemicals, and other specialty intermediates, all produced in compliance with ISO 9001 certification and GMP production standards.
Founded in 1993, Varsal Tech generated $19 million in revenue in the 12 months leading up to March 31, 2026. The company plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "VAT." RF Lafferty & Co. is the sole underwriter for this transaction.
