WEIHAI BANK (09677) announced that due to age reasons, Ms. Li Jie, a non-executive director of the bank, will no longer serve as a non-executive director and a member of the board's special committees. Her departure will take effect from the date when the successor non-executive director, elected by the bank's staff representative assembly, obtains approval from the Shandong Regulatory Bureau of the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission. During this period, Ms. Li will continue to fulfill her duties as a non-executive director and a member of the relevant board committees. The bank held its sixth staff representative assembly meeting on July 23, 2026. At this meeting, Ms. Wang Wenjing was elected as a staff representative to serve as a non-executive director of the ninth board of directors of the bank, replacing the vacancy left by Ms. Li's departure.
