A-share closing review | Shanghai Composite Index closes up 1.79% Technology leaders rebound together, with stocks like Zhongji Innolight (300308.SZ) rising more than 10%.
As of the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.79% to 3864.37 points, with a turnover of 139.65 billion yuan; the Shenzhen Component Index rose 4.81% to 14264.29 points, with a turnover of 154.83 billion yuan.
Today, the market made a violent counterattack, with the Sci-Tech 50 index surging over 10%, hitting the highest increase for the year.
In terms of market performance, technology stocks led the rebound, with the CPO concept continuing to rise. Stocks like Zhongji Innolight, Robotechnik Intelligent Technology, and Semight Instruments all surged over 10%. EverProX Technologies, Eoptolink Technology Inc., and Accelink Technologies were also among the top gainers. The semiconductor equipment, storage chips, MLCC, power semiconductors, and advanced packaging sectors saw a significant rebound in the semiconductor industry chain, with leading stocks like NAURA Technology Group, Chongqing Genori Technology, and GigaDevice Semiconductor Inc. all hitting the limit up. The zirconium oxide and computing power metal concepts also saw increases, with companies like Shandong Sinocera Functional Material and Guangdong Orient Zirconic Ind Sci & Tech hitting the limit up.
On the downside, the old sectors experienced another decline. Biopharmaceuticals, generic drugs, CROs, traditional Chinese medicine, and other pharmaceutical concepts all saw a decline. The oil and gas sector and the pork and poultry sectors continued to drop. Sectors like medical aesthetics, dairy, food and beverage, liquor, and retail all saw declines. The real estate industry chain also declined, with stocks like China Union and Yang Guang Co., Ltd. falling by over 7%. The banking, insurance, and brokerage sectors also experienced a collective decline.
Furthermore, Shenzhen Techwinsemi Technology, a storage stock that had been limit down for four consecutive days, opened limit down in the morning but surged limit up in the afternoon.
Looking at individual stocks, 3107 companies saw an increase, 2301 saw a decrease, and 121 remained unchanged. There were a total of 120 stocks with a limit up and 29 with a limit down.
At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 1.79% to 3864.37 points, with a turnover of 1.3965 trillion yuan; the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 4.81% to 14264.29 points, with a turnover of 1.5483 trillion yuan. The Growth Enterprise Index rose by 7.05% to 3685.97 points.
Looking ahead, the Deputy Director and Chief Strategic Officer of East Money Information Securities Research Institute, Chen Guo, believes that the "tech counterattack of the A-share market has begun."
