SSY GROUP (02005) announced that its gadobutrol has been approved by the China National Medical Products Administration for registration as a raw material for use in marketed preparations. Gadobutrol is a contrast agent for magnetic resonance imaging, suitable for adults and children of all ages (including full-term newborns), mainly used for contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (CE-MRI) examinations of various parts of the body (including the brain and spine), and contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance angiography (CE-MRA) examinations of various parts of the body. As a new generation of macrocyclic structural magnetic resonance imaging contrast agent, gadobutrol is more stable and safer compared to linear structured gadopentetic acid dimeglumine, and has clinical substitution advantages. Gadolinium is a rare earth metal, and the group is actively expanding into the gadolinium-based raw materials and injectable preparations integrated business.
