Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (600276.SH) announced that its subsidiary, Fujian Shengdi Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd., has recently received the approval notice for the clinical trial of HRS9531 injection issued by the National Medical Products Administration. The clinical trial will be conducted in the near future. HRS9531 injection is a new type of dual agonist targeting the gastric inhibitory peptide receptor (GIPR) and the glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor (GLP-1R), with HRS9531 as the main active ingredient. It has global intellectual property rights and is used for long-term weight management in adults. The marketing application for HRS9531 injection was accepted by the National Medical Products Administration in September 2025.
