According to the prospectus, Pusen Medical is an innovative medical device company specializing in the research and development of disposable medical endoscopes. Established in 2014, after over a decade of development, it has become a global leader in the field of disposable medical endoscopes, leading in technology, market development, and industry leadership.
In March 2016, the company, along with global medical industry giant Boston Scientific, launched the Disposable Electronic Ureteroscope Pyeloscope (referred to as "Disposable Ureteroscope") at the 31st EAU (European Association of Urology) Annual Congress in Munich, Germany. In April 2016, the company's Disposable Ureteroscope obtained CE certification from the European Union. According to public information and industry searches, the company is the first in China and the second globally to obtain CE certification for this type of medical device, giving it a significant first-mover advantage in the global early clinical application of disposable ureteroscopes. In May 2017, the company's Disposable Ureteroscope received FDA 510(k) approval in the United States, making it the first in China and the second globally to be approved for such a product, and entered the US market under its own brand PUSEN for commercialization. In June 2020, the company's Disposable Ureteroscope obtained a Class III Medical Device Registration Certificate from the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) of China, officially commencing the commercialization process in the Chinese market.
Building on its expertise in urological surgery, the company has transitioned from a product-focused company to a platform-oriented company, expanding its product line to cover various specialist fields in disposable endoscopes, creating a product matrix of surgical product lines, internal medicine product lines, and supporting devices. The surgical product line includes multiple disposable ureteroscopes, bladder scopes, and bile duct scopes; the internal medicine product line includes multiple bronchoscopy scopes, covering different applications such as urology, hepatobiliary surgery, and respiratory medicine. The products have been approved and sold in various regions worldwide, including China, the United States, and the European Union.
Addressing the pain points of traditional reusable endoscope use, complex cleaning, and the risk of cross-infection, the company has successfully achieved large-scale production of the Disposable Ureteroscope UE3022 through innovative materials and optoelectronic systems. Based on a deep understanding of clinical needs, the company has focused on the field of disposable ureteroscopes, continuously developing a series of products based on UE3022 through over ten years of independent research and development, accumulating a range of core technologies including ultra-thin outer diameter technology, direct instrument channel technology, direct mirror suction (DISS) technology, and dual-channel technology, leading the industry in cutting-edge development.
According to statistics from the third-party industry research organization Zhishizixun, based on shipments in 2025, the company's core products have established a significant leading position in the global disposable endoscope market: in the field of disposable urological endoscopes, the company ranks first in the Chinese market with a 29.8% market share, and second in the two major global markets of the United States and the European Union with market shares of 15.2% and 17.5%, respectively (only behind the comparable company Ambu); in the core flagship category of disposable ureteroscopes, the company has achieved a global market share of 20.4%, ranking first globally, successfully transitioning from local innovation to global industry leadership.
In terms of finances, in the fiscal years 2023, 2024, and 2025, the company's operating income is expected to be approximately 252 million yuan, 316 million yuan, and 538 million yuan respectively; during the same period, net profits are expected to be 69.3567 million yuan, 57.9548 million yuan, and 97.2079 million yuan respectively.
