Jiangsu Hengrui Pharmaceuticals (01276) announced that its subsidiary, Suzhou Shengdiya Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd., has received approval from the National Medical Products Administration (referred to as "NMPA") to conduct clinical trials for SHR-3079 injection. SHR-3079 injection is an innovative drug developed by the company, intended for the treatment of adult systemic lupus erythematosus and adult rheumatoid arthritis. In addition, the drug is also being studied for the treatment of stage I B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. As of now, there are no similar drugs approved for market domestically or internationally. The accumulated research and development expenditure for the SHR-3079 injection project is approximately 24.4 million yuan (unaudited).
