Huaqin Co., Ltd. (03296) announced that on July 10, 2026, its wholly-owned subsidiary Huaqin Communications acquired a total of 1.6282 million shares of Nexchip Semiconductor Corporation H shares through on-market transactions on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The total consideration was approximately HK$56.41 million (including transaction costs), equivalent to an average price of approximately HK$34.65 per target share. Following the completion of the acquisition and as of the date of this announcement, the Group holds approximately 10.00% of the total issued share capital of Nexchip Semiconductor Corporation. The acquisition demonstrates the Group's continued confidence in the future development prospects of Nexchip Semiconductor Corporation and its recognition of the long-term investment value. Through the acquisition and the Group's commitment to holding the equity of Nexchip Semiconductor Corporation for the long term, the Group plans to deepen the integration of upstream and downstream resources in the industrial chain and synergies, and to strategically invest to explore possibilities for cooperation in various businesses and projects in the industry, in order to enhance the overall competitiveness and market position of the Group.
