On the news front, recently, Junfang Medicine announced that GFH375/VS-7375 (oral KRAS G12D inhibitor) has entered a Phase II overseas study for the treatment of KRAS G12D mutant metastatic pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC), with the first patient already enrolled. This open-label, multicenter study (TARGET-D 201) is being led by Junfang's partner Verastem Oncology in the United States, aiming to explore first-line combination therapy (combined with cetuximab) and single-agent therapy as well as a second-line therapy combined with cetuximab. Shenwan Hongyuan Group released a research report stating that GFH375 is an oral inhibitor targeting the high-frequency KRAS G12D mutation, which occurs in approximately 40% of pancreatic cancers and is closely associated with poor prognosis. Shenwan Hongyuan Group emphasizes that in Phase I/II clinical trials, GFH375 has already shown advantages in efficacy and safety compared to similar competitors, making it the best in its class with great potential. Currently, the drug is undergoing Phase III registration trials for second-line and higher pancreatic cancers and is expected to be launched in China in 2028 as the world's first oral KRAS G12D inhibitor to enter Phase III trials.
