CITIC (00267): Sun Guangliang resigns as independent director of the third board of directors of CITIC Metal Co., Ltd.

China CITIC Limited (00267) announced that CITIC Metal Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") recently received written resignation reports from the independent directors of the Company, Mr. Sun Guangliang and Mr. Chen Yunsen. According to the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Independent Directors of Listed Companies" and the "Articles of Association," the term of office of independent directors shall not exceed six years consecutively. Mr. Sun Guangliang and Mr. Chen Yunsen, independent directors of the Company, have served for a full six years, and have therefore applied to the Board of Directors to resign from their positions as independent directors of the third session of the Board of Directors of the Company, and to resign from the relevant positions in the various committees of the Board of Directors. After their resignation, Mr. Sun Guangliang and Mr. Chen Yunsen will no longer hold any positions in the Company.
