Hong Kong Monetary Authority's newly appointed Assistant Chief Executive Wu Yingqi appointed as a member of the HKEX Risk Management Committee (statutory).

Wu Yingqi succeeded former Assistant Chief Executive (Monetary Management) Ho Hon-kee of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority to assume the position.
On July 6th, the Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) announced that they welcomed the new Assistant Chief Executive (Monetary Management) of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), Mr. Ng Ying Kei, to join as a member of its Risk Management Committee (Statutory). The appointment was made in accordance with the Securities and Futures Ordinance, with Mr. Ng replacing the former Assistant Chief Executive (Monetary Management) of the HKMA, Mr. Chan Hon-ki. According to the HKMA official website, Mr. Ng holds a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences (Politics and Laws) and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Hong Kong. He joined the HKMA as a Senior Manager in 2014 and was promoted to Director in 2017. He has worked in various functions within the HKMA, including institutional development, external affairs, and banking supervision. Prior to his current appointment, Mr. Ng was the Assistant Chief Executive of the Institution Expansion and Operation Department. Before joining the HKMA, Mr. Ng served as a Administrative Officer in the Hong Kong SAR Government.
