According to news, on June 27, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced on its official website that the mandatory national standard "Safety Requirements for Combination Driving Assistance Systems for Intelligent Connected Vehicles" (GB 47955-2026) will be officially implemented from January 1, 2027, after being approved and published by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the National Standardization Administration. The release and implementation of the standard are of great significance in establishing unified safety specifications for combination driving assistance systems, enhancing the safety level of intelligent connected vehicles, and ensuring the healthy and sustainable development of the industry. China Securities Co., Ltd. pointed out that 2026 is a key turning point for the commercial landing of intelligent driving in China, transitioning from a "functional competition" to institutionalized commercial implementation. The industry focus has shifted to three main lines. L3 is transitioning from pilot tests to limited commercialization, with responsibility boundaries, access mechanisms, and standard systems taking shape. L4/Robotaxi, resonating in China and the US, is entering a stage of scaled verification. The criteria for commercialization have shifted from "can it run" to "can it be replicated at low cost and operate efficiently in a single vehicle economic model." The company believes that based on the inflection point of the intelligent driving industry, the robotaxi, intelligent driving chip, and LiDAR sub-sectors of the industry chain are expected to benefit significantly.
