RIBOLIFE-B (06938) achieves first milestone in collaboration with MADRIGAL

RIBOLIFE-B (06938) announcement, the first milestone in the siRNA collaboration project between our company and Madrigal has been achieved. This collaboration aims to advance cutting-edge RNA therapy for liver diseases, focusing primarily on metabolic dysfunction-related nonalcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH). This milestone is the result of efficient collaboration between both parties, and will be followed by the immediate initiation of new drug clinical trial application (IND) supportive studies to support further clinical research. NASH is a serious liver disease that can progress to cirrhosis, liver failure, liver cancer, necessitating liver transplantation, and premature death. It is also the leading cause of liver transplantation in women in the United States, the second leading cause of all liver transplants in the US, and the fastest growing indication for liver transplantation in Europe, affecting over two billion people globally. Our company and Madrigal aim to utilize our company's validated liver-targeted RiboGalSTARTM platform to develop promising siRNA drugs for NASH patients with a large unmet medical need, providing more targeted and effective treatment options.
