The Bank of China Hong Kong (01606) announced that on July 1, 2026, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, CDB Aviation Lease Finance DAC (CDBALF), as the buyer (i.e. lessor), has entered into an aircraft purchase and leaseback agreement (the agreement) with the lessee (as the seller). The lessor has agreed to purchase 2 B787-9 aircraft from the lessee. The aircraft will be leased to the lessee through an operating lease agreement after delivery.
