Hong Kong Express announced that it will reduce the fuel surcharge for flights departing from Hong Kong to other countries or regions. The new fee, which will be effective from today (July 1), will be reduced from 339 Hong Kong dollars to 290 Hong Kong dollars, a decrease of approximately 12%.

In addition, flights departing from South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines, and Malaysia will also see a reduction in fuel surcharge. However, the fuel surcharge for flights returning to Hong Kong from Japan will increase by 3,100 Japanese yen to 14,300 Japanese yen, an increase of approximately 27.6%.
As for flights between Hong Kong and mainland China, and flights departing from mainland China, there has been no adjustment to the fuel surcharge.
