The operating business revenue was HK$82.07 million, a decrease of 14.4% year-on-year; net loss was HK$26.52 million, a decrease of 63.5% year-on-year; basic loss per share was 2.76 HK cents. The decrease in net loss for the Company's owners from operating business was attributed to (i) a decrease in sales and marketing expenses related to life consumption products business as well as administrative expenses; (ii) an increase in gross profit from construction and engineering business; (iii) a comprehensive impact of an increase in other expenses related to impairment of construction and engineering business.
