KATO (HK) Holdings (02189) announced its annual performance for the year ending March 31, 2026. The group achieved a profit of HK$354 million, an increase of 11.6% compared to the previous year. The net profit attributable to owners of the company was HK$34.224 million, a growth of 56.39%. Earnings per share were 3.42 HK cents, and a final dividend of 3 HK cents per share is proposed. The announcement stated that the increase in profit was mainly due to the revenue generated from the operation of two nursing homes in Lam Tin, which started operations in June 2024 and September 2024, respectively, and achieved full-year operations in the current year. Additionally, the revenue was boosted by the operation of a new nursing home in Tsuen Wan that started operations in the current year. However, these gains were partially offset by a decrease in revenue from medical and laboratory services.
