After Zeta Global (ZETA.US) and Palantir (PLTR.US) announced the integration of their respective data and artificial intelligence capabilities to jointly create enterprise-level marketing infrastructure, Needham, an investment bank, stated that the cooperation between these two companies has "strategic significance." According to the agreement, this seven-year strategic partnership aims to deeply integrate Zeta Data Cloud with Palantir's enterprise data integration and decision platform Foundry, while Athena will continue to exist as the application layer. Athena is an AI agent launched by Zeta aimed at enterprise marketing teams. The Needham analyst team led by Scott Berg stated, "We believe this announcement is positive at a strategic level as it will enhance the performance of Zeta Data Cloud. However, we do not believe this will have a substantial impact on Zeta's short-term financial prospects, as management has indicated that this collaboration will not impact the performance guidance for the 2026 fiscal year, and any increase in operating expenses will be very limited." The analysts added, "Fundamentally, the core of this collaboration is the migration of Zeta Data Cloud infrastructure to the Foundry platform, which will serve as the data operating layer underlying Athena." The analysts also pointed out that as part of the joint Go-to-Market (GTM) agreement between the two parties, the agreement includes a performance incentive mechanism for Palantir. They believe that this will be another driver of growth and is expected to create further growth potential on top of the financial goals set by Zeta for the 2028 fiscal year. Needham maintains a "buy" rating for Zeta and a target price of $25.
