9,000 Nio charging stations reached

On June 23, 2026, the 9,000th NIO battery swapping station officially went online in Ankang, Shaanxi. On the same day, multiple NIO battery swapping stations in cities such as Hefei, Tangshan, Wuxi, and Wuhan also went online simultaneously. As of now, NIO has built a total of 9,003 battery swapping stations, providing over 200 million battery swapping services. The scale of battery swapping stations and charging piles construction both rank first in the industry, continuously bringing users the leading charging experience. As the 9,000th NIO battery swapping station, the Ankang City Investment High-Tech Sports Center battery swapping station is a joint project built by NIO and Ankang City Investment. As of now, NIO has collaborated with over 40 partners, including 25 provinces and cities nationwide, and has jointly built and operated over 550 battery swapping stations with partners such as Wanneng Group China An Energy, Wuhan Shouyi Group, Zhongde Kai Group, Changsha Jingkai Group, Xi'an City Investment Group, among others. More joint battery swapping stations will be launched in the future, continuously providing users with convenient and efficient charging services. As of now, NIO has built a total of 9,003 battery swapping stations nationwide, including 3,927 swapping stations, 5,076 charging stations, and 29,255 charging piles, all of which rank first in the industry. There are 1,043 battery swapping stations on highways covering 9 north-south and 11 east-west major urban clusters, connecting over 550 cities, marking the end of NIO and LeD users' anxiety about recharging on highways. At the same time, NIO has established 87 rechargeable scenic routes, with plans to build over 100 such routes throughout the year, continuously expanding user travel boundaries. After the completion of rechargeable routes such as G318 Sichuan-Tibet Line, Yunnan-Tibet Line, and Hexi Corridor, the Silk Road rechargeable route will also be fully operational in 2026, meaning that users will be able to recharge at any station nationwide and reach all provincial-level administrative regions in mainland China. NIO will continue to invest firmly in charging infrastructure construction, adding over 1,000 new battery swapping stations in 2026 to make charging more convenient than refueling.
