Newland Pharmaceutical (301277.SZ) announced that on June 23, 2026, the company received the approval and issuance of the "Chemical Raw Material Drug Market Application Approval Notice" for the raw material of amlodipine besylate by the National Medical Products Administration.
It is reported that amlodipine besylate is a novel dihydropyridine calcium channel blocker, which removes the non-hypotensive activity of the right-handed enantiomer of amlodipine. This drug is a commonly used long-acting antihypertensive drug in clinical practice, which can gently regulate blood pressure, relieve angina, and improve symptoms of precordial pain caused by inadequate blood supply to the heart.
