Regarding the future market of Hong Kong stocks Caixin Securities believes that, in view of the current environment both domestically and abroad, as the expectation of a US Federal Reserve rate hike increases, the US dollar index will likely maintain a relatively strong trend. The pace of global loose liquidity may slow down, and the momentum of cross-border funds flowing into Hong Kong stocks and other emerging markets may weaken, which could restrict the liquidity repair in the Hong Kong stock market and the performance of stocks constituents in the Stock Connect. It is advisable to focus moderately on growth sectors with strong performance certainty and high elasticity. If the Federal Reserve maintains a neutral-to-hawkish tone, the market may return to volatility after the repair. If it signals a more dovish stance than expected, sectors with more previous retracements, high dividends, and advantageous valuations may usher in a valuation recovery. Soochow believes that the catalytic factors have significantly increased compared to before. In addition to the US-Iran agreement, this week's Federal Reserve interest rate meeting is an important catalyst.
