Zangge Mining (000408.SZ) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Geermu Zangge Lithium Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Zangge Lithium"), recently received a notice of industrial and information project filing issued by the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Qinghai Province. The company plans to invest a total of 32 million yuan, using a circulating adsorption process to recover lithium ions from the lithium mother liquor in the existing 10,000 ton lithium carbonate production unit lithium-sodium separation and lithium mother liquor recovery system. The project will add 2,000 tons of battery-grade lithium carbonate production capacity without increasing the consumption of old brine. After the project is completed and put into operation, it will directly reduce material consumption, enhance equipment operational stability, improve the recovery rate of lithium ions from the lithium mother liquor, eliminate safety and environmental risks, further strengthen the company's cost advantage and technological advantage in lithium extraction from salt lakes, effectively increase the lithium extraction capacity from salt lakes, and comply with national industrial policies and sustainable development strategies.
